We give our staff the support, training, supervision and appraisals that are necessary for their professional development and to meet the professional standards needed to continue to practice. We aim to employ only  'fit and proper' staff who are competent and able to provide care and treatment appropriate to their role. Therefore, we have robust recruitment procedures, including undertaking any relevant checks and ongoing monitoring of staff performance.
